Dada-abba

Dada-abba (Sals Dad) got to come visit us for a week and it was so great! Samson was so excited when he arrived and greeted him with a big hug. Every morning after breakfast they would play in the playroom or on the stairs and I wouldn't see them til lunch time! They played so hard they both had to take long naps after lunch! They read books, did puzzles, played with cars and trucks, and played soccer. (that was Samsons favorite thing to do) I usually don't let Samson play on the stairs, so he was so happy to sit on the stairs with his Dada-abba and play to his hearts content. They sat and played there for hours, literally! (It was pretty adorable!)

Uncle Travis & Dianna

Uncle Travis and Dianna got to come back and visit for a few days, and Samson was in heaven! He seems to be attached at the hip to both of them, wanting to know where they are at every moment. If they're sitting on the couch, you better believe Samson is sitting between them! And whenever they left to go do anything Samson would be at the door yelling "see you in a yittle while, dwive safewy!" He sure does love his Uncle Travis and Auntie Dianna. (when you guys move to Cali we'll send him over for a sleep over!!) ;)

Easter Day Fun

The Saturday before Easter we dyed some eggs. Samson thought that was soo fun, he loved seeing the eggs change colors. He was so excited about his decorating skills he even ate one, but it was followed by him saying "I dus yike da white pawt, not da geen and lellow! (translation: he likes the white part, not the green & yellow yolk). We started Sunday with an Easter egg hunt. At first it was hard keeping Samson on track because he wanted to stop each time he found an egg to open it and eat the candy. Then he found his basket the Easter Bunny left him. He got some matchbox cars, sidewalk chalk, bubbles, a little airplane, book, coloring poster, and probably more but I don't remember right now. It was such a nice day Samson and Daddy played outside. Samson got to use a squirt gun for the first time and loved squirting Daddy in the face and then laughing! Later in the evening Auntie Irma stopped by and Samson got another Easter basket full of fun toys, and Seri got a super cute bunny and hat. Samson loved snuggling with Auntie Irma before he went to bed. (and all monday morning he keeps asking where she is!)

Seri had her first big blow out, so she wore two different Easter outfits today!

Hangin with Papa and Uncle Travis

Papa and Uncle Travis drove down to visit and Samson loved hanging out with them! He was so excited to show them all of his toys, especially his trucks!

Welcome Baby Serianna

Serianna Mae was born at 1:29pm on March 21st. She was 2 1/2 weeks early, weighing in at 6 lbs 8 ounces, 18 inches long. She has a full head of hair that goes over her ears and down her neck. Labor went pretty fast, and was fairly easy (considering it was labor). I pushed for about 1 minute, and out she came! So far Samson is adjusting pretty well to having his sister here. He's been a little bit more of a turkey, but that could also just be because he's 2 1/2! When he came to see us at the hospital, he saw baby sister in the bassinet and then climbed on the bed, lifted up my shirt and looked back and forth from my stomach to the baby. He did this several times then just got back down and started playing with a toy. It was pretty funny to watch him "get it"!
